Before wishing all a Happy Tiger Year, NBH would like to share a few facts about the Chinese New Year. This year the first day of the Lunar New Year falls on Tuesday, February 1st, the New Year celebration lasts for around 15 days with 7 days of a public holiday. The Chinese New Year is their biggest celebration of the year, not only in China but for all Chinese communities around the globe. It is also a big celebration for many other Asian countries, over about 1.5 billion people across the world are taking part in the festivities. Chinese New Year, also refers to the Chinese Spring Festival, 2022, begins on February 1st and lasts until February 11th. The festival marks the beginning of spring and the end of winter.

This year we are entering the Year of “The Water Tiger”! Water is the most Yin of the five-element, characterize stillness and conserving. The Tiger is the third animal among the 12 in zodiac animals. The tiger is known for bravery, confidence, and strength (but also for its stubbornness)! Let’s all bring confidence to the year 2022!
